วัดดิสานุการามตั้งอยู่เลขที่ 237 ถนนวรจักร แขวงวัดเทพศิรินทร์ เขตป้อมปราบศัตรูพ่าย กรุงเทพมหานคร สังกัดคณะสงฆ์มหานิกาย วัดดิสานุการามเดิมเรียกกันว่า วัดจางวางดิษฐ์ เพราะผู้สร้างมีนามว่า นายดิษฐ์ ซึ่งเป็นข้าราชการชั้นผู้ใหญ่ในกรมมหาดเล็กมีตำแหน่งเป็น จางวาง สร้างขึ้นในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 3 ประมาณ พ.ศ.2350 ต่อมาพระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 4 โปรดพระราชทานนามใหม่ วัดดิสานุการาม มาตราบเท่าทุกวันนี้ วัดดิสานุการามได้รับพระราชทานวิสุงคามสีมาเมื่อประมาณ พ.ศ.2397
