ลักษณะสะพานระพีพัฒนภาคที่ปรากฏในปัจจุบันเป็นสะพานสร้างใหม่ไม่ใช่สะพานเดิม เป็นสะพานคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กแบบเรียบ ราวสะพานเป็นคอนกรีตโค้งออกด้านข้าง ลูกกรงทำด้วยท่อเหล็กสี่เหลี่ยม กลางสะพานมีแผ่นจารึกนามสะพานและพ.ศ. 2505 ซึ่งเป็นปีที่ซ่อมสร้างสะพาน ปลายราวทั้งสี่ด้านมีเสาโคมไฟโลหะ
