มัสยิดนี้ตั้งอยู่ที่ซอยวัดกัลยาณ์ถนนเทศบาลสาย 1 คลองบางกอกใหญ่แขวงวัดกัลยาณ์เขตธนบุรีกรุงเทพมหานคร 10600 มัสยิดบางหลวง หรือ กุฎีขาว เป็นมัสยิดของชุมชนมุสลิมนิกายซุนนี ที่อพยพมาจากกรุงศรีอยุธยา มัสยิดหลังแรกสันนิษฐานกันว่าสร้างขึ้นโดยโต๊ะหยี พ่อค้าชาวมุสลิมในสมัยรัชกาลที่ ๑ หลังจากนั้น มัสยิดบางหลวงได้รับการบูรณปฏิสังขรณ์หลายครั้ง สำหรับมัสยิดบางหลวง หลังปัจจุบันสันนิษฐานได้ว่าสร้างขึ้นใหม่ในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 3 เนื่องจากรูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมคล้ายพระอุโบสถทรงไทยซึ่งเป็นรูปแบบพระราชนิยมในสมัยนั้น โดยอาคารมีการประยุกต์และเปลี่ยนแปลงพื้นที่ใช้สอยรวมถึงการประดับตกแต่งที่เหมาะสมและสอดคล้องกับศาสนาอิสลาม มิมบัรและมิห์รอบ ของมัสยิดหลังนี้สร้างขึ้นใหม่ในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 6 แทนที่ของเดิมที่ชำรุด โดยเจ้าสัวพุก พ่อค้ามุสลิมชาวจีนต้นตระกูลพุกภิญโญ มิห์รอบของมัสยิดหลังนี้เป็นซุ้มสามยอดประดับกระจกสี และประดับด้วยลายพันธุ์พฤกษาที่ผสมผสานศิลปะไทย จีน และตะวันตก เข้าด้วยกัน
