Heritage walk · Treaty port to creative district
The farang mile of the treaty port, walked north: cathedral, trading houses, customs, mosque lane, post office, warehouses — ending where Bang Rak dissolves into Talad Noi. The architecture of every flag that traded here, now the spine of the Creative District. Start from Saphan Taksin BTS via the Oriental lane.

A 1922 Renaissance Revival library funded by Dr. Heyward Hays in memory of his wife Jennie Neilson Hays — still Bangkok's oldest English-language lending library, and an ASA Architectural Conservation Award winner.
The Catholic archcathedral, rebuilt in red brick 1909–1918 behind the Oriental — Romanesque outside, gilded rib-vaults inside.
