วัดทิพยวารีวิหาร เดิมชื่อวัดกัมโลยี่ เล่าสืบกันมาว่า เดิมเป็นวัดญวน สร้างปลายรัชกาลสมเด็จพระเจ้ากรุงธนบุรี ต่อมากลายเป็นวัดร้าง ราวรัชกาลที่ 4 พระภิกษุไฮซัน ชาวมณฑลฮูนาน ได้มาพัก ณ วัดร้างแห่งหนึ่งที่ตำบลบ้านหม้อ คือวัดทิพยวารรีวิหารนี้ ท่านได้ชักชวนสัปบุรุษทายกทายิกาให้ช่วยกันบูรณะปฏิสังขรณ์ใหม่ จึงนับเป็นวัดฝ่ายจีนนิกายที่มีพระสงฆ์จีนจำพรรษาแต่นั้นมา พ.ศ. 2494 หลวงจีนคณาณัติจีนพรต (เย็นบุญ) ขณะทรงสมณศักดิ์เป็นหลวงจีนธรรมรสจีนศาสน์ เจ้าอาวาสวัดทิพยวารีได้บูรณะปฏิสังขรณ์เสนาสนะและถาวรวัตถุทั้งวัด เพราะของเดิมเป็นไม้ชำรุดทรุดโทรมมาเป็นเวลาช้านาน กับทั้งประสบอัคคีภัย ทั้งนี้อยู่ในอุปการะของพระมหาคณาจารย์จีนธรรมมาธิวัตร (โพธิ์แจ้ง) สมัยดำรงตำแหน่งเป็นหลวงจีนคณาณัติจีนพรต ปลัดขวา ผู้เป็นอาจารย์

1. พระอุโบสถ มีลักษณะเหมือนศาลเจ้าจีน ตอนในสุดประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปทองแบบจีนขนาดใหญ่ 3 องค์บนแท่นหินอ่อน แท่นประดิษฐานพระประธานอยู่ภายในซุ้มสูงจรดเพดาน เป็นไม้แกะสลัก ลงรักปิดทอง เพดานประดับด้วยโคมระย้าแบบตะวันตกสลับกับโคมผ้าแบบจีน2. พระวิหาร ด้านข้างของอุโบสถทั้งสองข้างมีวิหารประดิษฐานรูปพระโพธิสัตว์ พระอรหันต์ ยมทูตแบบจีน
